Stroke & Brain Injury Rehabilitation
After a stroke or brain injury, rehabilitation helps people regain as much movement, speech, thinking, and independence as possible. Our physicians care for patients in the hospital and in the office as recovery continues.
Our providers manage inpatient rehabilitation at Inova Mount Vernon Acute Rehabilitation Hospital and Inova Fairfax Acute Rehabilitation Hospital, then continue follow-up care in our offices.
Ongoing care can include managing spasticity (muscle tightness), coordinating therapies, and adjusting your plan as your goals change.
Call 911 immediately for sudden face drooping, arm or leg weakness, trouble speaking, vision loss, or severe sudden headache. These can be signs of a stroke.
